Welcome to ITCSREC!

The International and Transnational Computer Science Research and Education Conference (ITCSREC 2027) provides a dedicated forum for sharing research, practice, and perspectives on the challenges, innovations, and opportunities in international and transnational computer science research and education.

In an era of global collaboration, joint curricula, student mobility, and cross-border research, ITCSREC offers a timely venue to bring together academics, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss and advance this important area.

Conference Scope

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

Innovative models of transnational and international CS/IT education (articulations, offshore campuses, joint programs)
Cross-cultural teaching and learning strategies
Research collaboration strategies and international consortia
Curriculum design, accreditation, and global employability
Student experience and supervision in transnational programs
Technology-enabled global classrooms and research labs (AI, XR, online collaboration)
Partnerships with industry, government, and community
Policy, ethics, and sustainability of transnational education and research

Proceedings

Accepted papers will be published in the ACM Digital Library as part of the ACSW 2027 Proceedings.
All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review.

Submission categories:

Full papers: up to 8 pages (excluding references)
Short papers: 2–4 pages (excluding references)

Important note to authors about ACM’s new open access publishing model

ACM has introduced a new open access publishing model for the International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Authors based at institutions that are not yet part of the ACM Open program and do not qualify for a full geographic waiver will be required to pay an article processing charge (APC) to publish their ICPS article in the ACM Digital Library. To determine whether or not an APC will be applicable to your article, please follow the detailed guidance here: Author Guidance.
